How to sleep well -Top 10 Healthy Snacks to get better sleep
Guys! As you would all know by now, we are health enthusiasts. And if there’s one value you could take from us, then that would be "how to sleep well"! The quality of your sleep could drastically determine the quality of your life. I mean think about it, the last you missed on some good sleep… how was your following day? Not the best right? Low energy levels and an overall feeling of bleh should be some of the symptoms!
Apart from the obvious things such as following a consistent sleep cycle and not having caffeine a at least 6 to 8 hours before bed time, here are some healthy snacks that could help you get better sleep!
1. Almonds!
An awesome snack because they contain Magnesium. A mineral super essential for deep sleep. If you like munching something at night, almonds is a great choice. (Note : A handful is enough; don't overdo it just cause they’re healthy. They still contain a higher percent of calories than other foods)
2. Kiwi
Eating about 2 kiwis an hour or 2 before bed has been shown to improve sleep quality. Pretty cool what a fruit can do eh? Did you know kiwis actually contain more Vitamin C than lemons? Yup!
3. Chamomile Tea
I love drinking something while reading or just doing any seated work. And since I tend to work in the late evenings, chamomile tea has been a great companion. The science is that it contains apigenin, an antioxidant that helps with relaxation and an overall calm feeling.
4. Bananas

8. Cottage Cheese

This food contains casein protein which is a slow digesting protein giving us a feeling of being full for longer helping with better sleep.
9. Tart Cherry Juice

10. Pumpkin Seeds
