Guys! As you would all know by now, we are health enthusiasts. And if there’s one value you could take from us, then that would be "how to sleep well"! The quality of your sleep could drastically determine the quality of your life. I mean think about it, the last you missed on some good sleep… how was your following day? Not the best right? Low energy levels and an overall feeling of bleh should be some of the symptoms!

Apart from the obvious things such as following a consistent sleep cycle and not having caffeine a at least 6 to 8 hours before bed time, here are some healthy snacks that could help you get better sleep!

1. Almonds!

2. Kiwi

3. Chamomile Tea

I love drinking something while reading or just doing any seated work. And since I tend to work in the late evenings, chamomile tea has been a great companion. The science is that it contains apigenin, an antioxidant that helps with relaxation and an overall calm feeling.

4. Bananas

Mix this with a few berries or some honey and you have a perfect sleep boosting desert. Its rich in protein and calcium which os important for natural melatonin production.

7. Walnuts

Just like almonds, deez nuts also aid better sleep but mainly because it contains more melatonin. A small handful would be pretty good snack. You could just mix this and the almonds for better nutrient variety

8. Cottage Cheese

Is you’re wondering if that's just paneer, well theres a slight difference in the amount of fat content. Paneer generally has a little more fat than cottage cheese. This food contains casein protein which is a slow digesting protein giving us a feeling of being full for longer helping with better sleep.

9. Tart Cherry Juice

One of the best sources of melatonin. Having a shot of this juice could help with you sleep cycles. What a fancy name eh “Tart Cherry”

10. Pumpkin Seeds
